It has been a while.
I still have to buy that book of Napolean Hill.
Strangely I’m addicted to Barrack Obama’s ‘Audacity of hope’ for now. An elegant writer, clear concepts. And Jhumpa Lahiri is so pretty in real life. I like contemporary writing and writers. Somehow Salinger’s and Ayn Rand’s writings never feel jaded. That’s the beauty.
I have been questioning a few things I’ve believed in. It is akin to rearranging your cup-board. Some concepts/beliefs/philosophies seem to have served their purpose. Time for new learnings, un-learnings, re-learnings. There have been fulfilling moments ..no complaints.
I don’t feel that passionately about a few things. Perhaps, that is what growing up is - to be able to look at yourself-from a distance. It is not important anymore - the need to be understood. Important is demanding from life – the universe- the energies; all that I need- to be what I can be. Preparing my wish list- it will now include a lot of new things. Opening the doors to light, fulfillment, peace, love, riches and serendipity, now.
You mentioned two of my favorite writers(JD Salinger and Ayn Rand) in one sentence.
ReplyDeleteHope you find the light, fulfillment, peace, love, riches and serendipity.
